How does a cancer cell develop from a normal body cell? How do cancer cells grow and spread in the body? How can even more effective methods be developed to treat cancer? And how does treatment affect those touched by cancer and those close to them in the long term?

When it comes to cancer, there are still many unanswered questions. At the same time, great progress has been made in many types of cancer in recent decades. Research is essential to further improve the chances of survival and the quality of life of cancer patients and their loved ones.

Here we provide insights into exemplary research projects that receive funding and are made possible by our generous donors and Swiss Cancer Research.
